Brilliant, but with a slight golden colour. Hint of a green hue in all that gold.
On the nose it has the classic fiano character of enconpassing most of the fruit spectrum, i.e. there's bits of rockmelon, pear, green mango, pineapple syrup, citrus zest. Basically a summer fruit salad. But with a flinty minerality holding it all in check.
The palate has a lovely weight to it. Quite lush on the front palate, but with a zingy acidic finish it starts and ends well. In between the slight phenolics fill in the rest of the mouth, and provide more of that delicious fruit smorgasboard. The fiano finishes so cleanly you won't believe the bottle's already finished...
